BAU 2019 - Munchen
From 14 to 19 January, the city of Munich welcomed more than 2,250 exhibitors and 250,000 visitors, of which 85,000 were foreign visitors, with a record result.
With an area of ??200 thousand square meters, in fact, it wins an unprecedented participation record, establishing itself as the leading international exhibition of architecture, materials and systems.
BAU brings together the needs of specific sectors with international suppliers and buyers. The show presents innovations and quality, the future of construction. Thanks to the wide range of specific products presented, BAU attracts various guests: architects, civil engineers, manufacturers of building materials, builders and planners.
BAU presents architecture, materials and systems for industrial, commercial and residential buildings, and for interior decoration, both for new buildings and for renovation buildings. The fair is the only event in the world that, every two years, brings together the leaders of the sector in a complete and transversal review of different sectors. The merchandise offer is divided into building materials, production sectors and themes.
The protagonist of the fair was technology, with an interesting focus on new lighting systems for apartments, houses and buildings.
Present for the first time the Digital Village in Hall C5, which with its start-up has had the possibility to present digital initiatives of the building industry alongside the innovative developments in the software field of “We connect, we maxime, we inspire” .
